Case study

17 St Swithin’s Lane provides exceptional Grade A workspace in the heart of the City, with abundant daylight and generous amenities. It is also home to the London Stone, set into the site since 1798.

The brief

Creating an appropriate setting for the London Stone was an integral part of the redevelopment, achieved with the Museum of London and the Worshipful Companies of Masons and Spectacle Makers.

Our role

We designed the building services, including an alternative lighting approach using circular LED downlights in place of traditional linear layouts.

What we delivered

  • Glare-free circular LED lighting
  • Independent high-efficiency VRV heat recovery systems to each floor
  • Ceiling-void heat recovery fresh air units
  • Mini CHP
  • Entered for a BCO award in 2019
