Following several projects for Royal London, we were appointed to the CAT A and CAT B fit-out of the Carbon Building, a 27,500 sq ft office building in the heart of Reading.
The brief
All services were stripped back to the cores. The four upper floors were fitted out to CAT A and the ground floor was redesigned with showers, changing facilities and a new, more prominent entrance and reception.
Our role
We designed the new building services throughout.
What we delivered
- BREEAM Very Good achieved
- Exposed services with heat recovery VRV and non-metallic ductwork
- New central air handling unit with heat recovery
- LED lighting with full control
- New BMS with energy monitoring
